Product Support Policies

Please note the below policies are specific to Sana Commerce 9.3 and older. You can find the Support Policy for Sana Commerce Cloud here

Duration of support

Every Sana version is actively supported for three years from the moment of the release date for our customers with a valid enhancement plan. After the active support period, we passively support the version for another two years.

Active support consists of:

  • Hotfixes for showstopper bugs (critical security issues, bugs that prevent customers from placing orders)
  • Support for new AX, NAV, GP and SAP releases
  • Support for new browsers (only showstopper bugs will be fixed)

Passive support consists of:

  • Hotfixes for showstopper bugs (critical security issues, bugs that prevent customers from placing orders)
  • Passive support will always be on time and material

Sana Commerce Connector support:

Unless stated otherwise, each connector guarantees support of all Sana framework features released with or before it. All 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 connector versions support Framework versions 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 respectively. Mismatching versions might work but are not guaranteed by Sana. Please find examples in the below table:

ERP-dependent framework features released after the connector release will not be available until the connector is upgraded.

  • Regarding only Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud, the Sana connector upgrade can happen automatically during an ERP upgrade. In such cases, Sana connector can support an outdated Sana framework version. More information can be found here.
  • The two-way compatibility feature is present from 9.3, going forward we will support all actively and passively support versions after 9.3.
